How to Calm a Crying Baby in Few Seconds?! See What This Doctor Did! Incredible!

Trying to soothe a baby who just won’t stop crying can be very traumatic for parents.

The video below showing how to calm a baby in seconds has gone viral, and parents around the world are eager to pass on the advice.

Robert Hamilton, a pediatrician became a real star on YouTube with his simple tutorial for calming down a crying baby.

This technique is called “The Hold”. Here is how you can perform it:

  1. Pick up the baby and fold his arms across his chest. Secure the baby’s arms with your hand, which also supports the baby’s chin.
  2. Hold the baby’s bottom with your other hand.
  3. Hold the baby at a 45-degree angle and gently rock him.

Use this technique on babies up to 2 or 3 months old. Older babies become too heavy to be held in this position.

Give it a try…
