Manage stress and get enough sleep

Active rest should be a priority, including some restorative yoga, deep breathing, meditate, walking, or whatever you like. Also, it is important to get 7-8 hours of sleep every night.

We shouldn’t forget its digestive benefits, too. It is good to consume it during the cold months because it has warming effect on the body and helps in resolving mucus build up.
Lower sugar intake
Try to eliminate candies, cookies and soda and consume sugar from fresh fruits and sweet root vegetables which will boost your immunity. Sugar can weaken your immune system and cause inflammation in your body. It will not help you when you are trying to fight a virus.

You will need:
6 juiced lemons
1 clove garlic
1 ginger knob
2 tablespoons of honey
3 cups of fresh pineapple juice
¼ teaspoon of cayenne pepper
Blend all the ingredients together thoroughly. Store the mixture in a glass jar or another safe container. Keep it in the fridge.
