When coconut oil is massaged into the scalp, it boosts blood circulation and supports hair growth. 1 teaspoon is enough to massage the coconut oil into the scalp with gentle pressure for 10 minutes, 3 or 4 times per week.

Use a shower cap to cover your hair, and let it sit for 1-2 hours, or overnight. Then, wash with gentle shampoo.
Coconut oil to get rid of dandruff
Coconut oil has strong antiviral, antimicrobial and anti-fungal properties that fight the fungus, viruses and bacteria that may be present on your scalp.
There are many shampoos that include harmful chemicals and that can make dandruff even worse. If the problem is dry skin or fungal, coconut oil will restore the health of the scalp, eliminate fungus and keep the scalp moisturized.
Other oils that fight fungus and yeast are essential oils like lavender, thyme, tea tree, wintergreen. You can prepare a dandruff treatment by mixing 2 teaspoons of coconut oil with 5 drops of one of these essential oils. Then, you need to massage the mixture in the scalp after washing it. At the end, cover with a shower cap and let it sit for 20-30 minutes. Sit in the sun or use a hair dryer on a low setting to increase the heat.
After you remove the cap, wash your hair with a gentle natural shampoo. Also, you can leave it work overnight. Repeat the procedure 2-3 times weekly.

Recipe for lice treatment with coconut oil
Mix 3 tablespoons of coconut oil with 1 teaspoon of each ylang ylang, anise, and tea tree oils. Double this recipe if you have longer shoulder-length hair.
First, apply the mixture all over the scalp and massage in. Comb through the hair. Use a shower cap to cover your hair and let it sit for 2 hours. Increase the heat by sitting in the sun or use a hair dryer.
When the 2 hours are over, comb your hair again. While your hair is still wet, mix 2 cups of apple cider vinegar and 1 cup of water in a small spray bottle. Spray half of the bottle on the scalp and hair. Pour the remaining mixture over the hair and massage lightly.
Wash hair thoroughly and comb it again. Finally, apply coconut oil.
This process needs to be repeated every 5-10 days for a couple of weeks. Between treatments, comb your hair in the morning and night, and also continue to use coconut oil as a conditioner.
