Georgi Todorov, a 95 year old beekeeper from Bulgaria is a true legend among beekeepers. Even at this age, he continues to take care of 140 pollen baskets, which are placed in two distant fields.
He says that there is only one secret of his vitality and decided to share it with the world:
This is the recipe:
– 1 kg of honey
– 1 kg of lemons
– 200 grams of bee pollen
Pour the lemon juice over the pollen so it can dissolve. Then, mix the juice and the pollen with the honey. Let the mixture sit for 24 hours.
After, add 250-300 grams of tahini (sesame seed paste) and stir it. If you like, you can add two cinnamon sticks to enrich the flavor. Cinnamon has very healthy properties as well.
When to consume it?
In a glass of warm water add one tablespoon of the mixture and one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar and stir it well. Drink it 30 to 60 minutes before eating in the morning and in the evening.
